Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant education and experience; industry certifications such as CPCU, AIC preferred.
• 3+ years handling homeowner’s insurance claims from FNOL through final settlement.
• Preferred: 5+ years of experience

Responsibilities

• Review Claims: assess documentation to determine validity and coverage.
• Gather Essential Information: contact policyholders, witnesses, and others to collect details.
• Document Findings Thoroughly: create reports and maintain notes.
• Analyze Coverage: review policies to determine applicable coverage and liability.
• Prepare Reports: submit thorough findings and recommendations for settlements.
• Negotiate Settlements: work with policyholders and third parties to reach settlements.
• Resolve Disputes: handle disputes professionally for favorable outcomes.
• Maintain Clear Communication: ensure transparent communication with stakeholders.
• Collaborate Across Teams: coordinate with underwriters and legal advisors.
• Ensure Compliance: follow state/federal regulations and company policies.
• Support Catastrophe Response: assist in disaster claim management as needed.
