CITON Claims Solutions, LLC is seeking a Desk Adjuster in Melbourne, FL. This role involves investigating, evaluating, and resolving homeowner insurance claims, ensuring fair processing in line with policy terms and company guidelines.

You will gather information from policyholders and witnesses, prepare comprehensive reports, and negotiate settlements. The position requires 3+ years of homeowners claims experience, with CPCU/AIC certifications preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or relevant education required or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years handling homeowner’s claims from FNOL through final settlement.
• Certifications such as CPCU or AIC are preferred but not required.

• Gather Essential Information: Collect details from policyholders, witnesses, and others.
• Document Findings Thoroughly: Create detailed reports and maintain notes.
• Analyze Coverage: Review policies to determine applicable coverage and liability.
• Prepare Reports: Submit thorough reports with findings and recommendations for settlements.
• Negotiate Settlements: Work with policyholders and third parties to reach fair settlements.
• Resolve Disputes: Handle disputes professionally for favorable resolutions.
• Maintain Clear Communication: Communicate transparently with policyholders and stakeholders.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Coordinate with underwriters and legal for complex claims.
• Ensure Compliance: Adhere to state/federal regulations and company policies.
• Support Catastrophe Response: Assist during disaster events as needed.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Are you a detail-oriented claims professional with a passion for helping others? We’re looking for a Desk Adjuster to work in our office located inMelbourne , FL. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in investigating, evaluating, and resolving insurance claims, ensuring fair and efficient processing in line with policy terms and company guidelines.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Review Claims: Assess and analyze submitted claims documentation to determine validity and coverage.
• Gather Essential Information: Communicate with policyholders, witnesses, and other involved parties to collect relevant details for claims evaluation.
• Document Findings Thoroughly: Create detailed reports and maintain comprehensive notes to support claims assessments.
• Analyze Coverage: Review insurance policies to determine applicable coverage and assess liability.
• Prepare Reports: Submit thorough reports with findings and well-supported recommendations for claim settlements.
• Negotiate Settlements: Work with policyholders and third parties to negotiate settlements that ensure fair and just outcomes.
• Resolve Disputes: Handle disputes professionally and efficiently, ensuring favorable resolutions.
• Maintain Clear Communication: Foster transparent and professional communication with policyholders and all stakeholders throughout the claims process.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with internal teams, including underwriters and legal advisors, to resolve complex claims.
• Ensure Compliance: In all claims processes, comply with state and federal regulations and company policies.
• Support Catastrophe Response: Provide critical support for claims management efforts during disaster events as needed.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Education: Bachelors degree or relevant education and experience. Industry certifications such as CPCU, AIC, etc. preferred.
• Required Experience: 3+ years handling homeowner’s insurance claims from FNOL through final settlement.
• Preferred Experience: 5+ years

The office environment is fast paced and collaborative.
