Job summary

EPS Group, Inc. in Mesa, AZ, is seeking a driven Designer II to join our Land Development team, focusing on high-impact commercial projects from concept through construction.

You’ll collaborate with our design team to bring site designs to reality using Civil 3D, grading, utilities, and site geometry, with mentorship and growth opportunities. The role emphasizes ownership of designs, attention to detail, and coordination with subconsultants and city reviews.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED and an Associate degree preferred.
• Experience using Civil 3D or Land Development Desktop to design and prepare construction drawings.
• Expertise in Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam.
• Familiar with commercial land development projects and submittal processes.
• Attention to detail and strong communication and multitasking skills.
• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Identify significant site constraints.
• Layout site utilities for sanitary sewer, water, and storm systems.
• Read maps, surveys, plans to note grading and conflicts.
• Perform basic site grading with Civil 3D and determine elevations.
• Generate earthwork models and use Civil 3D tools for quantity calculations.
• Prepare basic exhibits and QA/QC on redlines for plan sets.
