Job summary

Bowman invites a Civil Engineer II to join our Tempe, AZ team, contributing to land and site development projects. You will apply standard engineering techniques, develop plans, and coordinate with clients and sub-consultants.

The role requires a Bachelor's in civil engineering, EIT or progress toward PE, and 3+ years' experience. Proficiency with Civil3D, AutoCAD, and related tools is preferred. This position offers growth within a collaborative, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field is required at hire.
• EIT certification and/or progress toward PE license preferred.
• Three or more years of civil engineering experience; land/site development preferred.
• Experience with Civil3D, AutoCAD and related design software.
• Proficiency reading construction plans and understanding standards.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize initial civil design for phases of large land/site development.
• Coordinate with senior staff, clients, agencies, and sub-consultants.
• Prepare reports, plans, specifications, and calculations.
• Perform field investigations or inspections as needed.
• Review plans and assist with design problems and calculations.
