Pike Engineering in Fort Mill, SC is seeking a Substation Protection & Control Design professional to deliver safe, cost-effective design and drafting projects. You will create P&C drawings, interpret complex schematics up to 500kV, mentor junior staff, and manage project budgets and schedules.
The role requires 5-7 years CAD design experience, proficiency in AutoCAD or MicroStation, and a degree or coursework in utility CAD design.
Position Overview: Provide substation protection and control design, technical support, and coordination to a transmission substation engineering and design team for the purpose of delivering safe, cost-effective, and quality design and drafting projects. Provide technical competency on complex problems for projects including a wide range of utility substation projects, battery energy storage systems, and solar collector substations. The incumbent is expected to lead discipline work for projects and manage project schedules and budgets.
