Pike Engineering is seeking a CAD design professional to support substation protection and control design for utility projects in the Fort Mill area. The role involves drafting P&C drawings, reading design packages, and coordinating with multiple disciplines to ensure quality outcomes.
Ideal candidates will have 2–4 years in CAD design, proficiency with AutoCAD or MicroStation, and the ability to work independently or within a team, with strong communication and a focus on safety and compliance.
Position Overview: Provide substation protection and control design, technical support, and coordination to a transmission substation engineering and design team for the purpose of delivering safe, cost-effective, and quality design and drafting projects. Provide technical competency on complex problems for projects including a wide range of utility substation projects, battery energy storage systems, and solar collector substations.
