Job summary

PNC is seeking a Design Systems & Operations Lead to scale design quality and delivery across Treasury Management Digital. Based in Pittsburgh, Hamilton, or Houston, you will own the design delivery system, govern the Design System, and partner with product, research, and engineering to improve delivery outcomes.

The role blends hands-on design work with operating model improvements, enabling cross-functional teams and driving adoption of design standards across the organization.

Qualifications

• Must-have advanced Figma systems for scaling and governance of design systems.
• Strong UX and product design fundamentals across end-to-end lifecycle.
• Proven experience establishing or improving DesignOps functions, workflows or operating models.
• Experience with design-to-development workflows and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to define metrics and governance for design systems and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design Operations & Cross‑Crew Orchestration: Own health and effectiveness of the design delivery ecosystem across Research, Experience Design, and Design System teams.
• Intake, Work Shaping & Prioritization: Manage intake, prioritization, roadmap alignment, and capacity planning.
• Stage Gates, Dependencies & Delivery Readiness: Define gates and ensure development readiness and reduced blockers.
• Visibility, Metrics & Continuous Improvement: Track design health, delivery metrics, and adoption.
• Design System Ownership & Activation: Govern and evolve the Design System in partnership with leadership.
• Product Design Leadership & Strategic Execution: Lead high-impact initiatives and maintain hands-on design involvement.
