Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Senior Manager, Design Operations to strategically optimize how design teams work together and scale systems and structures. You will influence cross-functional stakeholders, drive clarity, and focus on delivering high-quality products and experiences.

The role partners with the Senior Director of Commercial Design to plan and execute key projects, while building authentic relationships across peers, partners, and leaders.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of experience including design management, project or program management of design deliverables, and operations management.
• Experience leading project delivery for cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

• Business & People Operations: collaborate with design leadership on budget, KPI/OKR, headcount, partner management, team rituals and culture to optimize design teams.
• Build processes and systems to establish operational rigor for sustainable results and delivery over time; scale programs when needed.
• Mentor and share design operations expertise with cross-functional team members.
