Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Project Design Manager to lead a design team and deliver workplace projects. You will guide space planning, FF&E decisions, and documentation from concept to construction, ensuring safety and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design from a CIDA/NAAB accredited program.
• 4+ years of professional design experience and Revit proficiency.
• Strong skills in architectural drawings, concepts and design.
• Excellent time management, communication and collaboration abilities; able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Proven ability to lead a team and build relationships with partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of design professionals from sketch through construction.
• Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Support designers in quality review of design deliverables.
• Communicate new processes and standards to the team.
• Ensure space plans and concepts meet safety codes and client needs.
• Oversee furniture, fixtures and equipment selections and detailing.
• Provide ongoing training on space planning, program management and FF&E.
• Develop client workplace standards and seek continuous improvements.
• Contribute knowledge of interior environment, finishes, lighting, acoustics and ergonomics.
• Work independently or with minimal oversight across design phases.
• Oversee third-party relationships with architects and engineers.
• Provide extensive FF&E vendor knowledge to the team.
