Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. in Las Vegas is seeking a Design Supervisor to lead and develop the design team, drive sales, and ensure customers have a positive experience through outstanding design services.

You will hire and coach a dynamic design staff, greet customers, schedule appointments, advise on tile, wood, stone and accessories, and manage multiple projects from inquiry to installation with precise communication.

Qualifications

• Design education (BA or AA in Interior Design) or 6 years interior design experience in lieu of education.
• 3-5 years of leadership or management experience.
• Knowledge of hard surface flooring preferred.
• Proficient in basic mathematical skills and MS Office.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with residential and professional customers.
• Hire and develop a dynamic design team with performance evaluations.
• Greet store customers and support design walk-in needs.
• Schedule design appointments and develop clientele through networking and referrals.
• Advise homeowners and designers on tile, wood, stone, and accessories.
• Design and sell complete, functional, aesthetically appealing solutions.
• Manage multiple customer projects through all phases with accurate communication.
• Collaborate with store leadership to meet sales and design goals.
• Maintain Design Center and company visual standards; stay current with design trends.
• Utilize design applications (Salesforce, Online Design Scheduler, MyProject, James Martin, HousPro).
• Participate in local design affiliations such as ASID, NKBA.
