Job summary

MECO Engineering in Jefferson City, MO is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to lead projects and guide the Jefferson City office. The role targets a Professional Engineer (PE) who can manage diverse civil engineering initiatives and transition into office management.

You will direct site civil, water and wastewater, hydrology, transportation, and storm water projects; mentor junior engineers; foster client relationships; and drive continuous improvement in operations and project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
• 10+ years of civil engineering experience with strong project management.
• PE license preferred with leadership capability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage civil engineering projects across multiple disciplines.
• Lead the Jefferson City office and guide staff.
• Provide expert guidance on civil topics and ensure project quality.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships for project success.
• Mentor junior engineers and support team development.
• Support day-to-day office operations and strategic growth.
