Job summary

Joybird is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to drive sales in its Seattle showrooms and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will open/close the store, manage daily sales reporting, and support leadership with programs to enhance the customer journey.

You will build a personal client base, maintain visual standards, and collaborate with product/marketing teams to respond to customer needs. Must thrive in a fast-paced retail environment with a team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail sales experience with shift supervision preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required.
• Availability for a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and act in the absence of management.
• Open/close with store keys and alarm code.
• Prepare daily sales reports for retail leadership.
• Oversee sales floor during high volume and supervise to meet financial goals.
• Lead Sales Associate duties and model excellent customer service.
• Maintain showroom design and merchandising standards.
• Grow personal client base and drive store sales through follow-up and outreach.
• Support leadership with programs to improve customer experience.
• Provide feedback to product/marketing/tech teams based on customer input.
• Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints.
