Job summary

Grand Home Furnishings, Inc. seeks a Design/Sales Consultant to assist customers in the showroom, discuss style and budgets, and guide them to the right furnishings with financing options and promotions.

You'll start at $18.00 per hour during a paid training program of up to four months. After training, you move to commission with uncapped earning potential, averaging $50,000–$75,000+ per year, and top performers reaching $90,000+.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and personable presence in customer interactions.
• Experience in customer service, hospitality, or retail preferred but not required.
• Ability to guide customers through showroom selections and financing options.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and professionally.
• Consult on style, needs, and budget; guide customers through showroom and explain features, financing options, warranties, promotions.
• Process sales orders accurately, coordinate special orders with vendors, and schedule deliveries.
• Follow up after delivery to ensure satisfaction and assist with service orders if needed.
• Send handwritten thank-you notes to customers after purchase.
• Maintain showroom sections daily for clean, tagged, and well-displayed merchandise.
• Occasionally assist with tent sales or loading merchandise for pickups.
