Job summary

California Closets is seeking a Design Consultant to deliver highly personalized, whole-home storage design solutions and exceptional service. The role starts with a 12‑week training period with an hourly rate of $19/hr, requiring commuting to the Richmond office during training.

After training, the position converts to hourly pay plus tiered bonus opportunities, with a preference for residents of Sonoma & Napa County.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused design to translate needs into storage solutions.
• Willingness to participate in a 12-week training program.
• Ability to meet sales targets and pursue referrals.

Responsibilities

• Commute to customers’ homes and design custom storage solutions using our CAD software.
• Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets through referrals and repeat business.
• Collaborate with installation team to ensure job completion and follow-up with customers.
• Participate in meetings and training sessions.
• Manage a portfolio of projects and clients of varying complexity.
