Job summary

Shure is seeking a user researcher to work with designers, product managers, and stakeholders to identify research needs and shape product experiences through rigorous studies.

The role involves designing interviews, usability tests, surveys, and field studies; analyzing findings; and sharing insights through workshops and reports to influence development.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in design, cognitive science, or related field.
  • Experience in user research focused on product or software experiences.
  • Experience designing and conducting user research with diverse methodologies.
  • Ability to collaborate with researchers, developers, product managers, designers, and business partners.
  • Understanding core research principles and processes.
  • Ability to distill insights into a compelling story.
  • Authorized to work in the United States full-time; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

  • Work with designers, product managers, and stakeholders to identify research needs.
  • Design and execute research studies (interviews, usability studies, surveys, field studies, etc.).
  • Analyze and synthesize research results with work partners.
  • Uncover actionable feedback for product development and share with key stakeholders.
  • Present findings through workshops, presentations, and reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members as part of the product development process.

Job description

  • Work with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify research needs
  • Design and execute research studies, including interviews, usability studies, surveys, field studies or similar
  • Analyze and synthesize research results with work partners
  • Uncover actionable feedback for product development and share it with key stakeholders
  • Present and share findings through workshops, presentations, and reports as needed
  • Work with cross-functional team members as part of the product development process
Requirements
  • In-process of a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in design, cognitive science, or research-related field
  • Experience in user research with an emphasis on research related to product and/or software experiences
  • Experience designing and conducting user research using a variety of methodologies
  • Ability to work well with other researchers, developers, product managers, designers and business partners
  • Experience conducting research and understanding core research principles and processes
  • Experience determining the most impactful insights from findings and building a compelling story
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
