Job summary

Ferrovial Construction seeks a Design Quality Manager to oversee the Design Quality Management Plan (DQMP) across projects. You will ensure submittals meet contract requirements, coordinate with design and QA teams, and drive continuous improvement in design quality.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in civil engineering or Construction Science, 5+ years in a related field, and familiarity with ISO 9001; PE licensure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Science or equivalent
• PE licensure preferred; EIT candidates considered
• 5+ years in a related role in transportation design or heavy civil; ASQ and ISO 9001 familiarity preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and maintenance of the Design Quality Management Plan (DQMP) and ensure submittals meet requirements.
• Coordinate with D&C design management, technical office, construction, and QA teams; track revisions and RFI responses.
• Prepare monthly design quality reports and maintain design quality records; support design NCRs and audits.
