Job summary

Ferrovial Construction seeks a Design Quality Manager to lead the design quality program on major infrastructure projects in the Nashville area. You will develop and oversee the Design Quality Management Plan, coordinate with design teams, the Developer/DOT, and QA firms, and ensure submittals meet contractual requirements.

The role requires a civil engineering degree, 5+ years in related roles, and strong knowledge of DOT standards, Procore, and ISO 9001 concepts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction science or equivalent.
• PE licensure preferred; EIT considered for licensure.
• 5+ years in a related role, transportation design or heavy civil; DB/P3 design or design quality experience preferred.
• ASQ certification and familiarity with ISO 9001 concepts preferred.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Bluebeam Revu, databases and document control systems (e.g., Procore).
• Knowledge of state DOT specifications, standards and design review procedures valuable.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation and updates of the Design Quality Management Plan (DQMP).
• Ensure design quality procedures and review standards are established and maintained; oversee DQMP implementation.
• Provide training and workshops to personnel involved with the DQMP.
• Monitor design quality reviews by qualified staff with auditable records.
• Coordinate with D&C design management, technical office, construction and document control on drawings and revisions.
• Prepare monthly design quality reports and maintain design quality records.
