Job summary

Ferrovial Construction seeks an experienced Design Quality professional to lead the Design Quality Management Plan (DQMP) across projects, coordinating with the D&C contractor, design firms, and DOT.

You will ensure submittals meet contractual documents, provide training, and maintain design quality records while collaborating across disciplines to drive continuous improvement and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction science required.
• PE licensure preferred; EIT candidates pursuing licensure will be considered.
• 5+ years in transportation design or heavy civil; DB/P3 design or design quality experience preferred.
• ASQ certification and familiarity with ISO 9001 concepts preferred.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Bluebeam Revu, databases and document control systems (e.g., Procore).

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, maintenance and update of the Design Quality Management Plan (DQMP) and related quality procedures.
• Ensure design quality procedures are established, implemented and maintained; oversee DQMP performance.
• Provide training and workshops on the DQMP to personnel.
• Monitor design quality reviews by qualified staff and maintain auditable records.
• Track design quality reviews and ensure timely completion before submittals.
• Coordinate with D&C design management, technical office, construction and document control on drawings and revisions.
