Ferrovial Construction seeks an experienced Design Quality professional to lead the design quality management on major transportation projects, ensuring the DQMP is implemented, submittals are complete, checked and certified, and delivered in line with the approved project schedule.

Coordinate with the D&C Contractor, design and QA firms, the Developer and the DOT to support cross-discipline reviews, maintain design records, and ensure compliance with contract documents and record drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction science or equivalent.
• PE licensure is preferred; EIT candidates pursuing licensure will be considered.
• ASQ certification and familiarity with ISO 9001 concepts are preferred.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Bluebeam Revu, databases and document control systems (e.g., Procore).
• Knowledge of state DOT specifications, standards and design review procedures is valuable.

Responsabilités

• Lead the development, implementation, maintenance and update of the Design Quality Management Plan (DQMP).
• Oversee design quality procedures and reviews to ensure compliance with the DQMP and contract documents.
• Coordinate with the D&C design management, technical office, construction and document control on drawings and revisions.
• Assist with design NCRs, corrective/preventive actions, and internal and external design audits.
• Prepare monthly design quality reports, metrics and the QMS Review Report.
