Job summary

Ferrovial Construction in Nashville, TN seeks a Design Quality Control Engineer to support the Design Quality Manager in coordinating design quality at the project level. The role focuses on implementing the DQMP and ensuring submittals are complete, checked, and certified in line with the project schedule.

You will work with the D&C Contractor, QA firms, Developer and DOT, contributing to train personnel, track reviews, and maintain auditable records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Science or equivalent.
• 3+ years in transportation design or heavy civil; DB/P3 design or design quality experience preferred.
• ASQ certification and ISO 9001 familiarity valuable.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu, Procore and MS Office suite.
• Knowledge of state DOT specifications, standards and design review procedures valuable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, implementation and maintenance of the DQMP and related project plans.
• Coordinate design quality activities with D&C contractor, QA firms, Developer and DOT.
• Track design quality reviews and ensure timely completion before submittals; escalate delays.
• Verify submittals meet DQMP and Contract Documents with certificates in place.
• Prepare monthly design quality reports and maintain design quality records.
