Ferrovial Construction-Webber 99 in Texas seeks a Design Quality Control Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team ensuring compliance with the PSQMP and project specs.

You will support QA/QC procedures, audits, and submittal reviews for TxDOT and other agencies, coordinating with technical offices and document control teams to maintain quality across 3-D design models and design changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Science or equivalent
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure required at hire or to be obtained shortly thereafter.
• ASQ certification and Professional Engineer licensure preferred.
• Familiar with ISO 9001 concepts.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Bluebeam Revu, PowerPoint, databases, and document control systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and coordination skills
• Must possess strong attention to detail and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Assist in establishing, implementing, and maintaining quality control procedures and quality review standards
• Assist in updating the PSQMP as needed or as required by the contract
• Assist in providing training and workshops to personnel involved in the PSQMP
• Assist in overseeing the implementation of the PSQMP
• Assist in ensuring PSQMP methods and procedures are implemented in the Work
• Assist in ensuring accuracy, completion, and quality in submittals to TxDOT and Governmental Entities
• Assist in certifying that design Submittal packages and changes meet PSQMP and Contract Documents
• Assist in providing QC records documenting the review of the 3-D design model of Submittals
• Assist in coordinating with Project Technical Office management of drawings and revisions
• Assist in incorporating changes from RFI process into Record Drawings
• Assist in coordinating with TxDOT and PSQAF regarding QC
• Assist in coordinating works with PSQAF
• Assist in monitoring the Quality Control of the project according to the Quality Management Plan
• Assist in performing audits
• Assist in completing the Quality Management System Review Report
• Assist in preparing required quality-related reports
• Work in a multidisciplinary environment and communicate with Ferrovial Construction-Webber 99 personnel to identify needs and evaluate process improvements
• Any other reasonable request deemed necessary by management
