Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering technology, computer-assisted design or related field.
• Typically one or more years in utility operations or related field.
• Requires a valid driver's license and a history of safe driving practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete cost estimates for licensee's using current estimating resources.
• Inspect PGE poles and ensure NESC compliance by PGE and Licensees.
• Verify NESC clearances for new attachments.
• Run Pole Loading Analysis on poles in the field to meet standards.
• Create non-design and design work orders to modify poles to pass PLA/ NESC.
• Collaborate with communication companies to resolve conflicts.
