Job summary

Potelco, Inc.’s Engineering Department in Sumner, WA, seeks a Project Engineer to support the Puget Sound Energy contract. You will evaluate Joint Use applications for pole attachment and related PSE projects, applying 3D modeling and NESC/WAC standards to ensure safe, compliant transmission structures.

The role requires at least one year of relevant utility experience, or an Associate level for less experience.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree or 3+ years related experience.
• Experience with CAD/3D modeling and AutoCAD.
• Ability to interpret standards and write clearly.

Responsibilities

• Review customer applications and resolve inconsistencies.
• Perform field site visits to verify project data.
• Analyze transmission structures for strength and clearance.
• Design solutions to meet NESC and local codes.
• Communicate project status effectively to stakeholders.
