Qualifications

• > Requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field or equivalent applicable union technical experience.
• > Eight+ years in the utility industry with five years in related technology field, including management/supervisory or other leadership experience.
• > Valid driver's license and a history of safe driving practices.

Responsibilities

• > Staff Management: Manages a team of professional and/or technical staff; ensures objectives and safety and procedural compliance.
• > Program Management: Contributes to power delivery and capital investment plans; implements procedures and standards following corporate direction.
• > Compliance and Safety: Ensures compliance with procedures and safety for complex control, protection and automation schemes.
• > Internal/External Collaboration: Partners with OT leaders and HR; liaises with engineers and customers to ensure satisfaction and safety.
• > Financial Management: Manages expenditures and financial controls; monitors budgets.
• > Resourcing: Oversees hiring decisions and staffing plans in collaboration with HR.
• > Professional Development: Oversees development plans and conducts performance reviews.
