Job summary

Bergmeyer | B Corp™ in Los Angeles seeks a driven designer with a professional degree in architecture and at least 3 years of design office experience. Travel is required and you’ll work from the office 3+ days a week under our Flexible Work Policy.

Proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office is expected, with a strong ability to communicate design ideas and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors on construction documents.

Qualifications

• Professional Degree in Architecture.
• On track for licensure preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent design office experience.

Responsibilities

• Ability to graphically communicate an idea quickly and effectively, backed by strong technical capabilities regarding building construction and technologies, millwork detailing, and consultant coordination
• Participation in the full design process from conceptual design through Construction Administration as a member of the project team
• Participate in construction administration, evaluate bids, conduct site visits, address technical issues, and maintain quality control during construction
• Experience with technical projects
• Strong organizational skills
• Prepare design development and construction document packages with project teams, consultants, contractors, and vendors
