Job summary
Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Design PM of New Technology Integration to own the design for maintainability and serviceability of future Fulfillment Centers. You will engage customers to document requirements, drive problem-solving, and manage implementation programs while balancing business needs with technical constraints.
You will travel to Fulfillment Center locations for design audits and long-term improvements, lead cross-functional efforts, and ensure standards and scalability
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or 4+ years Amazon RME BB/3P experience.
- Experience with material handling equipment (MHE) or automation environments, or reliability/maintenance.
- Strong background in design for maintainability and serviceability.
Responsibilities
- Lead optimization of mechanical system designs within budget and across disciplines.
- Direct 3D modeling efforts and clash detection across projects.
- Review and approve 2D installation layout drawings.
- Validate spatial analyses of clearances and egress across projects.
- Ensure maintenance and safety standards are consistently applied.
- Document engineering decisions with design plans and installation files.
- Travel to sites to audit and resolve complex issues.
- Develop engineering team capabilities and drive improvements.
