Job summary

iENG Design seeks a qualified professional to join our Design Operations team in Atlanta. The role focuses on end-to-end management of mechanical design and engineering projects, acting as the primary liaison between Construction and internal design teams.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in project management, VDC, or engineering within mechanical construction and can coordinate resources, schedules, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in project management, VDC, or engineering within the mechanical construction industry.
• Experience with mechanical systems, MEP design workflows, and construction document sets.
• Willing to travel on an as needed basis.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project setup, documentation management, schedule coordination, and meeting preparation.
• Prepare and maintain detailed project work plans with tasks and due dates.
• Schedule and facilitate meetings to determine fabrication plans prior to spooling and detailing.
• Coordinate with VDC, engineering, and commissioning teams to develop schedules and monitor milestones.
• Manage third-party resources to align with scope, schedule, and execution strategy.
• Facilitate design meetings and reviews with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Manage project documentation including scope deliverables and design logs.
