Job summary

Everlaw is seeking a Design Program Manager in our Oakland, CA office with a hybrid schedule (in office M/W/Th; Tu/Fr optional). You’ll establish the operating system for a growing design team, absorbing friction so designers can focus on craft and user workflows.

You will coordinate cross‑functional partners, define readiness criteria, and build lightweight operations rhythms with an emphasis on accessibility and quality across AI-powered litigation tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Design Program Management or Design Operations in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong ability to balance priorities and drive structure with empathy.
• Experience building lightweight design operations frameworks and resourcing processes.

Responsibilities

• Own the design operating model for planning and delivery, making dependencies and timelines visible.
• Define design readiness criteria and coordinate pre-launch quality reviews for high standards.
• Manage interfaces between Design, Product Management, Engineering, User Research, and Technical Writing.
• Build and champion lightweight design operations rhythms, templates, and critique structures.
• Monitor design resourcing and capacity to inform staffing decisions and growth planning.
• Represent design work to the business with a reporting layer for capacity and throughput.
