Job summary

Campbell’s in Camden, NJ is seeking a Design Manager, Everyday Pantry Essentials, to lead packaging design across brands, ensuring on-strategy delivery and creative leadership.

Reporting to the Associate Design Director, you will mentor a direct report and collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring brands to life. This hybrid role is based in Camden, NJ, offering opportunities to shape consumer-centered packaging solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in CPG design, preferably with food brands.
• Experience leading packaging and brand design initiatives from concept to execution.
• Bachelor's degree in a graphic-related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead design initiatives across the Everyday Pantry Essentials portfolio, guiding one direct report and ensuring work aligns with brand strategy and business objectives.
• Mentor designers by providing direction, feedback, and ongoing coaching.
• Translate design strategies into briefs, timelines, workflows, and deliverables.
• Provide strategic and creative direction to internal designers and external agency partners.
• Partner with Brand, Marketing, Innovation, Operations, Insights, and other stakeholders to deliver design solutions on schedule and within budget.
• Oversee relationships with external design agencies, production partners, and vendors.
• Review, evaluate, and approve creative work to ensure quality and brand consistency.
• Oversee packaging production and pre-press activities from concept to final delivery.
• Support budget management, resource planning, and production planning for design projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve design workflows and team effectiveness.
• Ensure design assets meet regulatory requirements and production specifications.
