Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a Design Manager 2 to lead project design from concept through startup. You will coordinate with the design team, trade partners, and client stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while guiding the design process and ensuring compliance with codes and project goals.

The role requires extensive experience in design and construction management, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to drive value through design decisions across diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or related field is required.
• 8+ years of design and/or construction management experience preferred.
• Experience taking conceptual design through construction is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design team and trade partners from concept to startup.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget for design packages.
• Coordinate with multiple disciplines to ensure design deliverables meet codes and client needs.
