Zuora, Inc. is seeking a VP of Design to lead the evolution of design as the company moves toward an AI-native product and operating model.

The leader will partner closely with Product, Engineering, AI and executive leadership to rethink how customers interact with Zuora—beyond traditional interfaces—by focusing on intent, intelligent assistance, automation, and outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of guiding design organizations in sophisticated technology companies,

Qualifications

• Leadership of design organizations in technology companies.
• Experience designing AI-native or agentic experiences is highly desirable.
• Ability to partner with Product, Engineering and AI to transform product development.

Responsibilities

• Define the design vision for an AI-native product experience.
• Establish a clear point of view for Zuora's product in an AI-driven world.
• Design for agentic experiences with context-aware AI actions.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and AI to build more integrated product development.
• Evolve the design organization to support an AI-native company.
• Create cohesive experiences across the Zuora platform.
• Engage customers to inform design decisions and workflows.
• Define responsible design principles for AI and ensure trust.
