Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Eight or more years of product-design experience with leadership of design work.
• Significant experience designing transmissions, electric drive units, or related automotive systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily technical direction to a team of TDU designers.
• Set design quality, release discipline, and GM process compliance.
• Lead complex packaging and integration of transmission and electric drive unit components.
• Coach designers through design reviews, templates, and best practices.
• Lead layout studies, tolerance analysis, and interfacing with manufacturing.
