Job summary

Lilly is seeking a Design Lead to oversee design delivery for capital projects, coordinating across design phases and with A/E firms to ensure alignment with project intent. You will drive design requirements, schedule, and governance, while guiding a multidisciplinary team and external partners.

Travel up to 25% domestically and internationally. Relocation may be required; a strong background in pharmaceutical engineering and project leadership is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical preferred).
• Minimum of 12 years of manufacturing and/or engineering experience supporting pharmaceutical or API networks.
• Pharmaceutical process or project engineer experience preferred.
• Strong project management skills and ability to facilitate conflict resolution.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the overall design delivery for capital project(s).
• Coordinate all design for the Project Manager during all design phases and deliver reviews.
• Direct development of design requirements and maintain design schedule.
• Coordinate with A/E firms and establish earned value progress systems.
• Ensure design meets approved intent through cross-functional collaboration.
• Mentor and develop others, including external resources.
