Job summary

Byrne & Jones Construction seeks a Director of Design Integration to lead the Design Integration function for its Sports, Parks & Design division. This role manages design through pursuit to closeout, aligning cost, quality, and risk and building repeatable processes across projects.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in design and construction, strong leadership, and a track record with external engineering partners.

Qualifications

• Ten+ years across design and construction, coordinating design disciplines on design-build or alternative delivery projects.
• Experience establishing or improving design-management processes, standards, or organizational capabilities is preferred.
• Ability to lead teams, influence across boundaries, and deliver results across a portfolio of projects.

Responsibilities

• Establish, implement, and continually improve design integration standards, processes, and deliverables for the division.
• Coordinate design across internal engineers, external partners, and construction from pursuit through closeout.
• Review milestones for accuracy, cost, constructability, and quality; resolve conflicts and document decisions.
• Identify cost efficiencies in materials, design alternatives, and sequencing without compromising safety.
• Lead constructability, sequencing, and value-engineering reviews with Estimating, PM, and Field Ops.
