Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, CT seeks a motivated professional to join the D&E Skills and Training Development team, driving workforce capability across design and engineering programs. You will identify critical skills, work with SMEs, and guide curriculum development to enable long-term readiness and program success.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
1+ year of experience in Engineering or Design.
Experience coordinating or supporting cross-functional projects or programs.
Experience using feedback or data to identify opportunities for and support program improvements.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with D&E supervisors and managers to identify critical skills required for current and future work.
Engage subject matter experts to collect technical insights on skill requirements across programs.
Partner with the curriculum development team to guide high‑quality program creation and determine optimal delivery methods.
Maintain regular communication with D&E leadership, providing updates, feedback, and recommended actions to support continuous development.
