Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat's Design & Engineering (D&E) Skills and Training Development team seeks a motivated professional to support workforce development initiatives across the design and shipbuilding lifecycle. You will help identify critical skills, gather technical insights, and shape delivery methods that elevate the D&E workforce.

Reporting to the Chief of Training for D&E, you will collaborate with EB leaders to assess needs and implement programs that enable long-term

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 1+ year of experience in Engineering or Design.
• Experience coordinating or supporting cross-functional projects or programs.
• Experience using feedback or data to identify opportunities for and support program improvements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with D&E supervisors and managers to identify critical skills required for current and future work.
• Engage subject matter experts to collect technical insights on skill requirements across programs.
• Guide high-quality program creation and determine optimal delivery methods with the curriculum team.
• Maintain regular communication with D&E leadership, providing updates and recommended actions.
