Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, CT, is seeking a Planning Value Stream Supervisor for the Digital Enterprise to lead a team supporting submarine programs. You will oversee project guidance, develop personnel, and drive process improvements within planning and digital tools.

The role requires 4+ years in design, engineering, operations, or planning and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
4+ years of relevant experience in design and engineering, operations, program office, planning, and/or quality.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

Supervise team responsible for supporting Electric Boat's Planning Organizations by tracking and providing guidance on projects or tasks.
Develop personnel through training and mentoring.
Recommend process improvements to support efficiency efforts.
Cost and schedule management as well as performance and resource management.
Development of Metrics on overall performance and improvements within the value stream.
Monitor usage, performance, and feedback to continuously improve current and future state digital roadmaps.
Develop and deliver presentations to upper-level management, customers, and business partners.
Interface with IT and cognizant business areas to drive initiatives forward.
