Qualifications

• BS in engineering or physics or closely related field.
• 7 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (motion control preferred).
• 3 years of leadership or supervision experience.
• Excellent project management skills including risk mitigation, budget control, and schedule tracking.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to present to senior leaders and customers.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct all design activities for new products and provide technical support to manufacturing.
• Build and lead a multidisciplinary engineering team to analyze requirements, develop prototypes, and finalize designs.
• Collaborate with leadership to determine long-term product, skill, and organizational needs.
• Drive new product development and continuous improvement of products and processes.
• Present concepts and data in formal design reviews with management and customers.
• Mentor and develop department staff and support recruiting and performance reviews.
