S.C. Swiderski (SCS) invites an experienced Design & Engineering Manager to lead architectural and engineering functions, aligning design with pre-construction planning and project delivery.

You will build a high-performing team, set priorities, and coordinate across Development, Construction, Estimating, Procurement, and PM to ensure constructible, value-driven outcomes. Key responsibilities include enforcing design standards, capitalizing on BIM, and ensuring code compliance while guiding

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, architectural design, building science, or closely related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Architect license is required or equivalent licensure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Design & Engineering Team, setting priorities and performance standards.
• Oversee architectural, structural, civil, MEP design, drafting, BIM, and documentation.
• Manage pre-construction design milestones, schedules, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with Development, Construction, Estimating, Procurement, and PM for constructability and budgeting.
• Drive continuous improvement in standards, processes, and workflows.
• Represent Design & Engineering in cross-functional and stakeholder meetings.
