Job summary

SCB in Boston is seeking an Architectural Designer to join our multi-disciplinary practice. You will work on multi-family residential, adaptive reuse, academic, and aviation projects under a Project Manager and Principal, contributing to design studies, drawings, and development packages.

You will collaborate with the project team and consultants, applying strong design sensibility and attention to detail while coordinating with engineers and fabricators.

Qualifications

• Accredited professional degree in architecture.
• 0-5 years post-graduate, full-time working experience in an architectural firm.
• Licensed Architect in the U.S. or actively working towards licensure.
• A strong design sensibility and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Revit; familiarity with Enscape, SketchUp, Rhino, Grasshopper, 3D Studio Max, Affinity Publisher/Photo and Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design studies, graphic representations, technical drawings, and other materials related to architectural design.
• Collaborate with project team and consultants to develop design development drawings.
• Support senior staff in all phases of project design and development under supervision.
