Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Design Engineering Specialist to lead engineering projects for the Integrated Drivetrain Energy Solutions (IDES) Division. You will develop design specs, oversee development testing, and guide supplier evaluation for Large Mining Truck and Off Highway products.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in an accredited Engineering or Materials Science curriculum is required.

Responsibilities

Develop design parameters, performance characteristics, and technical specifications.
Guide evolution of technical design and project planning; participate in supplier selection.
Monitor, test, and explore new technologies and materials for product or process improvements.
Construct and fabricate prototype equipment; oversee materials selection and testing.
