Fleet Data Centers is seeking a Senior Principal Data Center Design Engineer to act as the technical authority for development, implementation, and scaling of mega-scale campuses. Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive engineering experience, with at least 8 years focused on hyperscale data center architecture, physical design, and engineering integration.
• Proven track record leading engineering and design execution of multi-site, global data center projects.
• Strong communication skills, able to translate complex engineering concepts for diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Architect the master vision for global data center designs and enforce standards across sites.
• Create and review complex site campus masterplans and high-density infrastructure layouts.
• Lead cross-functional design workgroups spanning electrical, mechanical, structural, controls, and networking teams.
• Own engineering due diligence for new site selection, assessing power, water, environment, and code variations.
• Collaborate with vendors and consultants to review equipment submittals and ensure compliance with specs.
• Present technical strategies to senior leadership and hyperscale clients.
