Job summary

Vantage Data Centers seeks a Design Manager to lead the Design Integration Group, guiding design quality and value engineering from concept through handover to construction and operations. The role prioritizes uptime, resiliency, and scalable standardization across multi‑site hyperscale campuses.

You will drive design processes, mentor teams, manage external consultants, and deliver design packages aligned with client requirements and company standards.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering mission-critical facilities, hyperscale data centers, or large-scale industrial infrastructure programs.
• 8–15+ years of experience delivering complex infrastructure projects.
• Proven leadership across MEP systems, redundancy strategies, and cross-functional project execution.
• Strong executive communication, stakeholder alignment, and change-management capabilities.
• Familiarity with BIM and coordination platforms (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Bluebeam).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate across Development, Engineering, Construction, and Operations to ensure design excellence and on-time handoff.
• Lead schematic to IFC design phases for hyperscale campuses with cost and performance KPIs.
• Manage external architects, AE firms, and consultants to deliver complete design packages.
• Maintain alignment with design standards, reference architectures, resiliency tiers, and security frameworks.
• Drive modular design, standardization, and prefab strategies for speed of deployment.
• Develop and report design-related metrics and dashboards; support lessons-learned processes.
