Idler is seeking a Design Engineer to own the visual design and user experience for our customers and internal team. You’ll craft beautiful applications, pages, interactions, and marketing materials that are easy to view and use.

Our RL environments are complex artifacts that require clear interaction and communication. You’ll bring founder’s thinking, designer taste, and engineering precision to succeed in this hands-on, in-person role in San Francisco.

Qualifications

• Portfolio showcasing design work.
• Strong UI/UX design skills and aesthetic sensibility.
• Experience observing users and iterating to improve the product.

Responsibilities

• Create a unified UI, layout and UX paradigm for inspecting and interacting with RL environments.
• Build templates for marketing materials that are beautiful and standards-compliant.
• Instrument and visualize the environment tracking system across iterations.
