Job summary

Towne Towne seeks a Design Engineer, Parking Technology Solutions to translate client needs into buildable site-specific designs. You will create 2D drawings and 3D models, ensure compliance, and work with sales, operations, and contractors through project handover.

The role requires coordinating with clients and internal teams to deliver accurate, scalable PARCS/guidance solutions nationwide.

Qualifications

Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (drafting/CAD, civil, mechanical, electrical, or construction-related engineering) — or equivalent hands-on experience in lieu of a degree.
Work Experience: 3–5 years producing technical/engineering drawings for physical installations (parking, security/access control, low-voltage systems, civil/site works).
Knowledge & Skills: CAD proficiency and ability to read/sanction drawings, coordinate with clients and contractors.

Responsibilities

Solution Design & Technical Feasibility for site-specific technology solutions.
Produce 2D layout drawings and 3D models with high accuracy (lanes, equipment placement, sightlines).
Conduct turn-radius analyses and clearance checks; ensure ADA/compliance.
Identify conflicts with codes and coordinate resolution before design sign-off.
Develop on-site network diagrams showing device connections to LAN/server.
