Job summary

Walter P Moore's Parking Consulting team is seeking an Architectural Designer with 3-6 years of relevant project experience to join their dynamic group.

You will design and produce architectural plans and BIM models (REVIT) for parking structures, collaborate across disciplines, and contribute to fast, client-focused project delivery.

Qualifications

• 3 - 6 years’ experience in building design.
• Interest in the design of parking and mobility structures is a plus.
• Must be bi-lingual (Spanish and English) – English Level B2.
• Proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD, BIM 360.
• Parametric modeling experience (desirable).
• Rhinoceros (desirable).
• Enscape, Lumion, or equivalent (desirable).
• Adobe Illustrator (desirable).
• Adobe Photoshop (desirable).
• Must be able to travel to the United States and other locations.
• Must be proactive, have strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be client-service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Design and production of architectural plans and details for parking structures across project phases.
• Coordinate with parking team and other Walter P Moore disciplines.
• Develop BIM models (REVIT) and annotate plans and details.
• Assist with narratives and document preparation.

Responsibilities

Walter P Moore has an immediate opening for a n Architectural Designer to join their dynamic Parking Consulting team. The qualified candidate will have between 3 - 6 years of relevant project architectural design experience.

In this role as Technical Designer, you will work closely with the parking team and coordinate with other Walter P Moore disciplines. Job tasks will include the design and production of a rchitectural plans and details related to M obility a nd Parking Structures in all phases of the project, rationalizing geometry for appropriate parking structure schemes, rapidly develop ing parking structure Building Information Models (primarily utilizing REVIT), annotative plans and details and assisting with writing narratives. Collaborate with multicultural and multi-discipline team members across the firm.

The qualified candidate should possess a high energy level and be a self-motivated design professional who can work within a strong team environment, working collaboratively with other WPM team members. Technical specialization in advanced drafting and REVIT modeling is a must .

Clients will include award - winning global architects, developers, institutions, and contractors.In addition to all the skills listed above, the qualified candidate should possess a strong “can-do” customer service attitude.
