Job summary

Qualifications

• Degreed Mechanical or Energy Engineering engineer.
• 2+ years of related experience.
• Obtained EIT/FE designation. In the process of obtaining PE.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, and other related software.
• Computer savvy with advanced knowledge of computers and handling.
• Willing and able to understand and learn new information.
• Demonstrated proficiency with energy simulation software and understanding of energy management.

Responsibilities

• The Design Engineer II will perform various tasks assigned by the Senior Engineers.
• Developing the ability to independently conduct job site surveys and propose design solutions.
• Developing the ability to conduct audits and surveys, record equipment details, and trace piping/ductwork.
• Converting field surveys into usable formats for plan and project development; assist in planning to size/replace/retrofit equipment.
• Other duties include copying/printing/scanning, submittal package assembly, and preparing work scope.
• Participate in project improvement by refining standard design practices and documenting procedures.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• The Design Engineer II will perform various tasks assigned by the Senior Engineers and
• Developing the ability to independently conduct job site surveys with a complete understanding of the project's intent and be able to analyze and propose design solutions and installation
• Developing the ability to conduct audits and surveys as needed independently. Record identifying equipment function, tags, location, capacities, photos, etc. Trace piping and ductwork onto field
• Developing the ability to independently convert field surveys (sourced from self or others) into useable formats for plan and project development. Assist in planning to size, replace, and retrofit new equipment to replace aged or obsolete
• Other duties may include copying/printing/scanning, assembly of equipment submittal packages, assistance in preparing work scope, and other tasks as

Geographic Disclosure

Compensation Range: $40 - $48 per hour
