ENTRUST Solutions Group is seeking a Design Engineer I to shape electric utility projects, from scoping through design, in a hybrid work setting. You will collaborate with customers and field teams to deliver robust electrical service designs for new customers.

Ideal candidates have an ABET‑accredited engineering degree, 0–1 year of relevant experience, and familiarity with CAD or GIS design. A production‑oriented work style and on-site fielding duties up to 20% are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited university
• 0–1 years of relevant work experience in consulting or a related field
• Knowledge of CAD or GIS design is a plus
• Strong work ethic with a desire to work in a production environment
• Ability to work in a hybrid capacity, including up to 20% local fielding responsibilities to support project and client needs

Responsibilities

• Scope, design and develop electrical service systems for new customers
• Interact with customers, scope projects and estimate costs
• Provide a design package that meets customer needs
• Meet with customers and construction crews on site to review scope and project execution
