Job summary
LJA Land Development in Denver, CO seeks a Design Engineer to provide design, production, and project support using AutoCAD Civil3D, Bluebeam, and other tools for public and private clients. You will help deliver feasibility studies, cost opinions, exhibits, plans, and development support tasks while growing within an entrepreneurial, employee-owned environment.
The ideal candidate holds a BS in Civil Engineering, has passed the FE exam, and demonstrates strong communication and teamwork.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree from ABET accredited university (Civil Engineering preferred).
- Passed the FE Exam.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Bluebeam is desirable.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork are essential.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with technical peers to perform design calculations and generate technical drawings.
- Prepare equipment or material specifications and exhibits for projects.
- Support feasibility studies, cost opinions, and bid packages.
- Contribute to design iterations informed by jurisdictional criteria and site conditions.
