Job summary

Superior Industries Inc. is seeking a Design Engineer to design, develop, and implement mechanical systems for crushing equipment, from concept to manufacturing.

You will contribute to all stages of the engineering process and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in Morris, MN. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, hands-on CAD experience (Inventor, AutoCAD, RISA 3D), and the ability to deliver manufacturable designs on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Ability to design manufacturable mechanical systems and components.
• Experience with design analysis and prototyping is a plus.

Job Description

As a Design Engineer at Superior Industries, you'll play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and components for our projects. From concept to manufacturing, you will have the opportunity to contribute to all stages of the engineering process.

• Coordinate product design and development for crushing equipment used in processing bulk material and aggregates
• Design and detail custom crushing equipment
• Perform design analysis for components
• Perform testing and prototyping of new products
• Create drawings and bills of material that are accurate and contain all information required by production
• Evaluate and implement design changes
• Other duties as assigned

Compensation

• The starting pay range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000. Final compensation will depend on various factors including: skills, experience, and location.
